Special fancy threads mainly refer to gold and silver threads, chenille threads, etc. Gold and silver wires mainly refer to gold and silver wires obtained by sandwiching aluminum sheets between polyester film sheets or steaming on polyester films. It can be used both on fabrics and as decorative sewing thread to make the fabric surface shiny and bright. A chenille thread is a specially made fancy yarn in which the fibers are held on a plied core yarn, shaped like a bottle brush. It is soft to the touch and is widely used in flocking and fringe fabrics.
According to the definition of fancy yarn, fancy yarn can be divided into three categories: fancy yarn, fancy yarn and comprehensive fancy yarn. Among them, the main features of fancy yarns are irregular appearance and yarn structure, such as changes in twist, twist direction, and twist mode, and the gloss and heat shrinkage properties of the yarn itself are different from ordinary yarns. Such yarn products include knotted yarn, covered yarn, beaded yarn, chenille yarn, core-spun yarn, etc.
Fancy thread fabrics refer to fabrics that are interwoven with various fancy threads and strands. This type of fabric is composed of different structures and colors of various fancy threads to form a colorful appearance, reflecting the changes in the surface of the fabric, such as unevenness, luster, color, etc. The appearance of such fabrics is poor in abrasion resistance.
In order to check the quality and facilitate dyeing, fancy yarns are generally supplied in twisted packages, which must be made into bobbins after entering the factory. Since the core thread and reinforcing yarn of fancy thread are generally thinner and have lower strength, the winding speed should be reduced or the weight of the tension sheet should be appropriately reduced. When piecing, care should be taken to cut off the part of the yarn tail without flower shape.
